Park Picnics & Family Weekends – Quick Setup and Folding Tips for Lightweight Wagons

For urban families, the folding wagon is most often used not in the wilderness, but in nearby parks, lawns, and riverside green spaces. These scenarios require a wagon that is light, compact, easy to fold, and capable of carrying everyday items.

The TC6-120-6*1.5 weighs only 8.3kg and folds to approximately 29×16.5×72cm, easily fitting into a car trunk or even the rear footwell. The TC6-120-6*2.5 is slightly heavier (8.36kg), but its braked wheels offer greater safety on slopes.

Typical packing list:

• Picnic mat, portable chairs and table, kids’ toys

• Fruits, snacks, drinks (preferably in an insulated bag)

• Bluetooth speaker, sunscreen spray, wet wipes, and other small items

Steps to unfold and fold:

1. Unfolding – Place the folded wagon upright. Release the strap or latch. Grasp the upper edges of the wagon and pull outward until the bottom support bars click into place. Check that all four wheels sit flat on the ground.

2. Loading – Place large, heavy items first, then smaller ones. Do not exceed the height of the side walls, or items may fall out during movement.

3. Folding – Empty the wagon completely. Press the bottom folding mechanism or lift the central strap (depending on model) to collapse the sides inward. Finally, secure with the strap and place back in the trunk.

Tips:

• If frequently used on sloped grass, choose the braked-wheel version (TC6-120-6*2.5). Engage the brake when parked to prevent rolling.

• Wipe off grass stains and mud from the Oxford fabric with a damp cloth before folding to avoid long-term staining.
